Dr. Matthias Rauhut
Dr. Matthias Rauhut, Executive Vice President of Felix Schoeller Holding, joined the Schoeller Group in 1996.
Dr. Rauhut was born in Wiesbaden in 1965. After gaining his Abitur, he decided to do a degree in mechanical engineering, specialising in paper engineering, at the Technical University of Darmstadt. He gained his doctorate from Graz Technical University in 1994.
Dr. Rauhut began his career in 1991 as assistant to the management board at StoraEnso's mill in Hagen Kabel. From 1994 to 1996, he was head of development with StoraEnso.
In 1996, Dr. Rauhut joined Felix Schoeller jr as head of converting. From 1999, he was mill manager in Pulaski (USA), before taking up the post of mill manager at Felix Schoeller jr in 2002. Dr. Rauhut has been Chief Technical Officer of Felix Schoeller Holding since 2006.
Dr. Rauhut is married and has two children.
