Felix Schoeller’s E-PHOTO® papers are now certified for dry toner systems

The E-PHOTO paper from the Osnabrück-based Felix Schoeller Group is now successfully certified for various dry toner systems: Konica Minolta AccurioPress C83hc, Ricoh Pro™ C7200sx and Pro™ C9200 Series, Heidelberg Versafire EV and Versafire EP as well as certain Xeikon printing presses.
E-PHOTO had already been certified years ago for HP Indigo systems but now the extension completes the picture and gives the opportunity to face new market changes.
E-PHOTO is known as a high-quality paper for premium products printed digitally: It is a genuine photo paper that is water-resistant even without additional lamination. Additionally, its special product structure features absolutely no whitebreak of substrate as well as brilliant, high-intensity, top-quality prints. With different surfaces it is perfect for multiple applications: photo printing, calendars, lay-flat photo books and commercial applications, as for instance menus, brochures and business cards.
Due to an expected growth in toner technologies for photo and commercial prints as well as customer requests the product manager Jens Brockschmidt decided to test E-PHOTO on dry toner systems. The test convinced and led to the attached successful certifications.

For printers the main advantages of E-PHOTO media are that through the highly sophisticated paper production process of Felix Schoeller, a high printing and converting consistency of the paper is given. Additionally, one production step (lamination) can be saved and therewith time and resources as E-PHOTO is prelaminated. It is perfectly suitable for easy finishings as for instance, for spot varnishing and hot/cold foiling.
