Felix Schoeller showcases specialty papers in real-world applications at FESPA 2026

  • In the curated concept store, Felix Schoeller demonstrated the performance of its materials in real-world applications for the print and signage industries.
  • For the first time at the trade fair, the company presented the strengths of its portfolio across three business segments.
  • Under the motto “Make a statement. We deliver the substance,” the trade fair presentation addressed the growing complexity of material decisions and underscored the importance of close collaboration with customers.

At the FESPA Global Print Expo 2026 in Barcelona from 19 to 22 May, Felix Schoeller brought three key areas of expertise together for the first time in a curated concept store. The presentation focused on photo, digital printing papers, and sublimation printing, release liners for graphic arts, and paper-based packaging solutions, all showcased in real-world application scenarios.

With this trade fair concept, the specialty paper manufacturer positioned material selection as a strategic factor for the print and signage industry. Technological advances in digital printing, volatile supply chains, and growing demands around sustainability and regulatory compliance are increasing the pressure on customers to make the right decisions. In this complex environment, material choices influence not only operational processes but also performance, brand impact, and long-term viability. This makes strong partners all the more important: partners who do more than supply materials, and who support customers throughout the decision-making process with application expertise, technical advice, and in-depth industry knowledge.

“Material decisions have become a strategic success factor in the print and signage industry,” explains Matthias Breimhorst, Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) at Felix Schoeller. “At FESPA 2026, we demonstrated how Felix Schoeller supports customers and partners in an increasingly complex market: with extensive application knowledge, deep material expertise, and a portfolio that combines performance, compliance, and brand impact.”

Focus on Application Expertise
In the curated concept store, presented under the motto “Make a statement. We deliver the substance,” Felix Schoeller brought together its areas of expertise – photo and digital printing papers, sublimation printing, release liners for graphic arts, and paper-based packaging solutions – in a shared application context at FESPA for the first time. The company showcased real-world applications from a wide range of everyday and industry settings, including cycling jerseys, water bottles, and bike-wrapping applications, graphically designed posters, coffee-table books, and mugs, as well as packaging solutions for granola, waterproofing wax, and vegan bars. The concept store demonstrated the potential of Felix Schoeller’s material solutions across diverse applications and industries.

With this year’s trade fair presence, Felix Schoeller underlines its commitment to guiding customers through an increasingly complex market environment and supporting well-informed, collaborative decision-making.
